thankful4:
It’s a well-known saying that no man is an island, and as part of a community every individual has a role to play. By fulfilling these parts, we enable others to live safe and comfortable lives. Many people use New Year’s Resolutions to improve the self - resolving to lose weight, get rid of…

Hawaiian Geckos
Are they not the most fabulous little creatures? They are all around the house we rented - mostly outside, but every once in a while we find a little one trapped inside. They fascinate us to no end - particularly at breakfast when we eat outside and they seem to come out of the woodwork, looking for their own morning meal.

Afternoon explorations
The wind picked up, but the sun was still warm. Waves large, sand soft. Dark clouds in the distance filter the light, making the cliffs glow and waves sparkle a blue-green. The sea is warm and as it pulls away, my feet sink deep under the sand. I can breathe here, deeply.

Catching My Breath
It’s been the busiest year I can remember. I’ve been traveling across the US producing events, meeting people, working with sponsors, writing, taking photos and building products. While work can’t stop, the freedom of my career choice is that I can work from anywhere. So while my home is back east, where winter is beginning to appear, I’ve gone west. Last week was sunny...
