Close Your Eyes...

Today's Greenie
Yesterday’s raw food video made me wake up craving a good greenie. So I made #42 from AmyA’s Green Smoothie Blog. I didn’t have the two peaches so I substituted a mango. I also used Dulse flakes instead of Nori. It turned out fantastic. I had a tall glass of it with an avacado, tomato, cheese sandwich on hemp bread. Very energizing combo.

More Breakfast
Continuing with my theme, I thought I’d highlight another healthy breakfast since it’s been such a challenge for me. Today’s was herb-filled scrambled eggs on a corn tortilla with fresh avacado, salsa, plain yogurt and some arugula - topped with lots of ground pepper. For the herbs I had chopped parsley and dill. Delish.
